2nd Line (server) Support Engineer



2nd Line Support Engineer – Gloucester. Circa 20K – 23K + excellent additional shift allowance + Benefits.<br><br>A 2nd Line Support Engineer is urgently required to provide support with customer issues and requested escalated from the 1st line support Team. The Engineer will also be responsible of monitoring and management of server infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing the deployment of dedicated servers, resolving automate build issues and racking hardware stock. <br><br>The successful candidate with have a strong technical back ground in the administration of either windows 2003 servers or Linux. You will also have extensive experience offering 2nd line support to external customers rather than solely internal staff, sound knowledge of basic network principles and moderate ability in at least one scripting language. <br><br>This is an excellent opportunity offering an experience IT professional the potential to earn a good salary while furthering your IT skills in an exciting and rapidly growing company.
