Sales Engineer - Heat Pumps - Renewable Energy - South West



We are recruiting a Sales Engineer to cover the South West. My client is a large refrigeration company rapidly expanding within the renewable energy sector in particular ground source and air source heat pumps.

Sales experience in; air conditioning, heating, boilers or refrigeration would be helpful, but not essential.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

The position will mainly be concerned with selling Water Source & Ground Source renewable energy products: Heat Pumps & Heat Recovery Ventilation

Personal accountability for developing sales with consultants, distributors, trade counters, contractors, end users (domestic & commercial), self build

Initially UK wide, though a smaller area will be designated in the long term

Quoting

Initial system design and specification

Meeting and exceeding sales targets as set between the RSD (regional sales director) and you

Forecast orders and sales on a four month forward view basis at requested 2 weekly intervals



Worked from home 1 day per wk and field based 4 days



Training will be provided, which will include on the job & manufacturer training





Requirements / Skills:

Ideally a Mechanical Engineering background and be technically qualified

Sales experience or a strong desire for sales

HVAC experience would be helpful; Air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, boilers or similar

Driving licence

A-Level maths & English or equivalent desirable



Package

Negotiable salary: depending on experience £22k - £35k

Excellent commission package £10k - £15k

40 Hours per week

25 days holiday per annum
